So often when we hear or read something about the benefits of natural, handcrafted soap we tune out and stop listening. It sounds like blah, blah, blah. . . natural. Blah, blah, blah. . . handcrafted. Yada, yada, yada. . . soap.
But here’s a question. How often do you bathe or take a shower? Once a day? Several times a day? How often do you wash your hands in a typical day?
And when you do… What does the experience feel like?
Let’s pause for a moment and think about the soothing feel of warm water. Now let’s add soothing textures and aromas. Can you start to notice your breathing? Slowing down.
How has your day been? Do you think of where you will go when you leave this space and what you will do when you get there?
Our days are filled with competing demands - work, family, home – and trying to do our best at every turn. Life can be a constant, daily struggle with the juggle. As (over)committed, responsible, always-on-the-run individuals, we can lose sight of ourselves, our needs and desires.
